I’ve completed many long distance challenges and nothing gets close to this one.

Racing against nature. At Scotland’s widest point. Can you beat the sun?

    The Timing Sheet

Distance challenges work best if you break the journey down and plan sensible places to rest and refuel. By sticking to the plan, each group of riders can support eachother through. Click below for a detailed breakdown. Do you think you could do it?

  • A winding gravel road through green hills under a partly cloudy sky at sunset.

A chance to enjoy some amazing scenery

Its rare to get a one day journey that takes in so many distinctly special landscapes. From agricultural Aberdeenshire, through the Spey Valley’s whisky highway to the grand tourist appeal of the Central Highlands. Then there’s the Uk’s highest mountain, the famous Glenfinnan viaduct, a glimpse of the Cullins and the final drama of sunset at a remote lighthouse.

You’ll likely see stags, steam trains, shinty and some outstanding scenery!

    Well Supported.

You’ll be very well supported throughout the ride. In addition to a mechanic’s van, each cycling group will have their own vehicle available, driven by one of our experienced and motivational volunteers. They’ll be there on hand with your spare kit, food supplies, bike spares and insider advice to keep you going. They’ll take pictures and video for you to look back on once its all over. And theyll dish out the beer at the finish line. I’ll be ditching the bike for 2026 and joining them too. I can’t wait….!
